Avoid the Noise to Pray with Kids

A fun game awaits you today. The goal of the game is finding a back door into more prayer time. Any artist (visual, musical or, dare I say Pray-er Artist?) will tell you the secret to any work is practice, and to practice we need time working with the art itself. Or, in this case we need to pray, in order to become Pray-ers, so, we can, then, lead our kids in prayer.

What’s your number?

What’s your number?

Was that an invitation to the Present Moment or a distraction from the Present Moment you looked at on the phone?
Was that an invitation to the Present Moment or a distraction from the Present Moment you looked at on the phone?

Whatever the number, it’s okay, as we are all tempted to have ridiculously big numbers. Take this to prayer and inquire if something needs to change. If the answer is yes, let’s keep exploring this habit to co-create a better experience with God while we raise, lead, and model choices in front kids. They are always watching. The information surrounding our phone usage is not to be judgy or scrupulous on ourselves, but to ask…”What does God want and how does this information impact His family?”
